Maldon and Little Baddow. 2 vs ODF. 0
The first game of the season started off well, buts that’s as good as it got.
For a start the game went a bit like the champions league final with Maldon as Barcelona and the unfortunate Arsenal aka ODF. Maldon as always not organised lack of players no balls (dimpled ones) and delayed the start.
As all good teams we offered our best player to assist in the first half ha ha (Thanks Jamie) and we began. We started well and looked the stronger team but they had the well known 12th player and unfortunately he held the whistle.
With some great efforts from Mark (goalie) and Diggs in saving a goal off the line the fire power up the other end was not as impressive as needed, (Ash, still no goal), Our short corners were a bit weak and that sums up most of farmers shots (Loosely termed shots) Ps was that a Drag Flick?
All in all some great performances especially from the three new youngsters, Will Jo and Mike keep it going guys.
And finally Thanks everyone for coming along and making the effort to play and paying on time,
The following failed to pay so we will expect full payment next game: Jamie w, Adam P, Madds, Jimmy.
